Dec. 3 at Zhora Darling USPOP (rhymes with “busstop”) is releasing their first Christmas song “Happy Christmas USA”. The main lyric goes “Do They Know It’s Christmastime in America?”. The song is written by lead singer Peter Davies just last month and was quickly produced in time for a Thanksgiving release.
“It’s a song about Christmas and what it feels like in America right now. We took that feeling and put into a song. It’s a happy sounding song on purpose. If you’re dealing with what Americans are dealing with you’ve got to say the truth about it and then sing “Happy Christmas” a million times. That’s why I think it’s the best song written this year, by anyone. It captures the mood of the country.”

“Happy Christmas USA” will be available on all major streaming platforms on American Thanksgiving Day, 2025.
