American Britpop band USPOP is releasing their first full length album at Zhora Darling on February 27. Get tickets here. Opening are Absolutely Yours and Savage Moods.
“USPOP is an American Britpop band. The music sounds a bit like Oasis or Blur. Those bands haven’t released much quality music recently so we thought we’d try it. The album is amazing so, “Yer Welcome”, says lead singer Peter Davies.
The album includes 2025 singles “Winter Builds Character”, “She’s Extra” and “America”. “Yer Welcome” includes five new tracks including live favorites “Hey Professor” and “Go Yer Way”.
“Yer Welcome” was recorded in Minneapolis at Flowers Studio with Kris Johnson and Small Circus Studio with Russel Munson. Russel Munson mixed the album and Chris Bethea did the mastering. Kip Jones contributed strings on “America”.
